Midas Jewellers has been part of the fabric of Dundalk for almost 50 years. Opened on August 28th 1971 by Stephen Burns and his mother Eileen Mc Kee and named Midas by his stepfather Frank Mc Kee who worked there as an engraver. Originally situated in Earl Street Midas moved to Park Street and traded there for 37 years before moving to the very successful Longwalk Shopping Centre.
Angie Mc Court has been involved in the business both as an employee and owner. She has been instrumental in expanding the range of goods following her gaining of a diploma from the International Gemological Institute. Her knowledge of the specialised aspect of the business pertaining to precious stones has enabled her to advise customers in a sympathetic manner.
Midas will, as it has done for over fifty years give your enquiries best personal attention.
